High School: Played for coach Jo Beth Weaver for three years at North Cobb High in Kennesaw . . . as a sophomore, named All-County after leading the team in stolen bases and placing 5th in Cobb County in winning percentage (.800) and 14th in batting average . . . named All-County as a junior coming in 4th in Cobb in ERA, top-25 in batting average and top-10 in strikeouts . . . as a senior, named All-Region 5AAAAA and All-County . . . fifth in the county in ERA (0.75), seventh in batting average (.397), third in strikeouts (115) and also led her team in triples . . . lso stole 30 bases in 34 attempts . . . had an RBI triple in the 2005 Reviving Baseball in Inner Cities (RBI) Girls Softball Championship in Pittsburgh, helping lead the Atlanta RBI squad to a fifth straight championship.
