Carrollton, Ga. – August 22, 2005 – West Georgia head golf coach Jeff King announced Monday that walk-on tryouts for the 2005-06 golf team are scheduled for this Wednesday and Thursday.
Any student interested in trying out for the golf team, either men’s or women’s, must contact coach King before Wednesday’s tryout day. He can be reached at (770) 842-0255.
The tryout will last two days and will be in a tournament format. Wednesday’s tryout out begins at 2:00 p.m. at the Oak Mountain Golf Club. Thursday’s begins at the same time at The Lion in Bremen. To participate, any student must first contact coach King and be at the golf club and ready to tee-off at 2:00 p.m.
