Not only does West Georgias 2005 football roster has a connection to Clemson University. So, too, does the coaching staff with the addition of Jeremy Varn as a graduate assistant to work with the Braves running backs this fall.
Varn joins the UWG staff after a stint as a grad assistant on the staff at Newberry (S.C.), in his native South Carolina.
Varn is a 2002 graduate of Clemson University.
