Carrollton, Ga. – September 21, 2005 – When the Gulf South Conference announced Carolin Shoeneck as it’s East Division Offensive Player of the Week Tuesday, it was three different firsts for West Georgia in 2005.
It was Schoeneck’s first time receiving the honor, it was the first West Georgia Brave to receive weekly recognition and it was the first ever Player of the Week for head coach Regan Adams
Schoeneck had 63 kills with a 3.71 kills per game average in leading the Braves to a pair of Gulf South wins in last week’s action. On the season, she is second on the team in kills with 171 and averages 3.49 kills per game.
The Braves face West Florida at home in a huge Gulf South Conference match.
