Carrollton, Ga. – November 25, 2005 – It was a good night for the Peach Belt Conference at the Third Annual All-Georgia Classic, with Georgia College and State University beating Morehouse 87-63 in the early game and the West Georgia Braves falling to Columbus State 92-84 in the nightcap.

The West Georgia Braves led in this contest by at least 13, but a furious second-half run, spurred by eight points from Ron Robinson, gave the Cougars the edge at the end.
The Braves led 78-68 with 6:48 left to play in the game. But at that point, UWG went cold offensively and Columbus took full advantage, outscoring host West Georgia 24-6 over the final six minutes.
Three Braves scored in double-figures, led Andrius Petkunas with 24. The junior was six-of-12 from beyond the arc on the night. Antonio Shaw had 23 points, followed by Chris Burras with 21. West Georgia had 26 turnovers in the game to Columbus’ 15.
The All-Georgia Classic concludes Saturday evening with a 6 p.m. matchup between Columbus State and Morehouse. West Georgia and Georgia College and State finish up things 30 minutes after the conclusion of the first contest.
