Carrollton, Ga. – September 11, 2005 – West Georgia soccer continues to garner attention from schools in the region, and Tuesday moved up in the South Region rankings into a tie with Nova Southeastern in the seventh spot.
Tampa and West Florida maitained the top spot in the rankings, followed by Barry at three and Lincoln Memorial in the fourth slot. Central Arkansas and Rollins are the other two teams in front of the Braves in this week’s poll.
West Georgia beat Lynn last Friday, and the loss dropped the Fighting Knights down to 10th in the Region. The Braves are one of six Gulf South Conference teams ranked in the region.
