Schoeneck, Singleton take All-GSC honors
Carrollton, Ga. - November, 2005 - West Georgia's volleyball season ended Friday evening in Searcy, AR, but the postseason honors started rolling in Monday afternoon as GSC officials announced the 2005 All-GSC team.

UWG runs into juggernaut at GSC Tourney
Carrollton, Ga. - November 11, 2005 - The 2005 campaign came to a close Friday evening in Searcy, Ark., as the West Georgia Braves fell 3-0 (17-30, 14-30, 17-30) to host Harding at the Gulf South Conference tournament.
UAH spoils senior night for Braves
Carrollton, GA � November 3, 2005 - Senior night ended on a disappointing note for the West Georgia Braves volleyball team here Thursday. UWG fell to GSC East rival Alabama-Huntsville, 3-1, in the final home match of the 2005 season.
Winning trend continues in Livingston
Livingston, AL - November 1, 2005 - The West Georgia Braves began the month of November with a bang, taking down West Alabama for the second time this season with a 3-1 victory (30-26, 25-30, 30-28, 30-28).

Harrogate, Tenn. - October 29, 2005 - All it took was a win on Saturday, and the West Georgia Braves came through, beating Lincoln Memorial 3-1 in Harrogate to claim the final spot in the Gulf South Conference tournament.
Comeback effort upends Carson-Newman in TN
Jefferson City, TN - October 28, 2005 - All season long, West Georgia have had one game in each match where a team comes from behind to beat the Braves. UWG turned the tables on that trend Thursday night, coming back from a 16-3 deficit in the fourth game to win and force a fifth. In the fifth game, the Braves took control, winning 15-7.
West Georgia takes down Valdosta
Valdosta, GA � October 22, 2005 - The West Georgia Braves have several must-win games left in order to make it to the 2005 Gulf South Conference tournament. They took the first step Saturday with a 3-1 win over Valdosta State.
West Florida too much for UWG in Pensacola
Pensacola, FL - October 20, 2005 - Pensacola is rarely kind to any West Georgia team. The UWG volleyball Braves learned that lesson the hard way Thursday night, falling to West Florida 3-0 (30-26, 30-24, 30-26) in the Florida panhandle city.

Carrollton, Ga. - October 13, 2005 - A team in a losing streak needs to find any way to win within the rules. Thursday night, the West Georgia Braves snapped a six-match losing streak with a 3-1 Gulf South Conference win over Montevallo.
Braves fall to top-10 UNA
Carrollton, Ga. - October 11, 2005 - A top-10 team is always tough to play, no matter what court you play on. The UWG Braves found that out Tuesday night, falling 3-0 to the #7 North Alabama Lions at the HPE Building.

Coaches pick Braves third in preseason
Carrollton, GA � August 4, 2005 - One thing is for certain about the 2005 UWG volleyball season. The Braves will be out to prove that a trip to the 2004 Gulf South Conference tournament is no fluke. The coaches in the GSC East Division don�t seem to think it was, as West Georgia was picked third in the preseason Coaches� Poll, released by conference officials Thursday morning.
Collins wins Arthur Ashe award

Carrollton, Ga. - July 18, 2005 - With just a few weeks left before reporting day, two West Georgia players have already had a tremendous summer. Junior middle hitter Siha Collins started the summer being named to the 2005 Arthur Ashe Sports Scholar Volleyball team. Meanwhile, sophomore libero Megan Crumpton has been honing her skills in Nicaragua, playing with Bring It USA.
Regan Adams becomes fifth UWG head coach in program history
Carrollton, Ga. - July 1, 2005 - Looking for a new head coach to continue the building process of West Georgia volleyball, athletic director Ed Murphy needed a youthful vibrance on the UWG sideline as well as Gulf South Conference experience. He found just that in former West Alabama star Regan Adams, who became the fifth West Georgia volleyball coach in its 27-year history on July 1, 2005.
Braves announce early signees
Carrollton, Ga. - November 18, 2004 - With Thanksgiving approaching, West Georgia volleyball has plenty to be thankful for from the 2004 season. But it doesn't stop there, as Wednesday head coach Amy Draper announced the signing of two stellar recruits for the 2005 season.
