Carrollton, Ga. – October 11, 2005 – A top-10 team is always tough to play, no matter what court you play on. The UWG Braves found that out Tuesday night, falling 3-0 to the #7 North Alabama Lions at the HPE Building.
The Braves struggled all night on both sides of the net, allowing the Lions to hit for nearly 40 percent on kills while managing just 26 kills in the match. Carolin Schoeneck was the lone bright spot, collecting 10 kills for West Georgia.
The Braves fall to 16-15 on the year and 4-4 in the GSC East Division. UNA moves to 22-1 and 7-0 in the conference. West Georgia hosts Montevallo on Thursday evening.
